On September 26, 2006 The Enforcement Group turns 2! This is cause for celebration. I'd like to come up with some plans for some in game things to do that would be fun and promote the name of the Enforcement Group. If the ideas are great and it looks like it could be a day packed with events or happenings I'll even take the day off of work to make sure it takes off. =0

Help me brainstorm guys, what can we do that would be fun and set this day apart from alot of the others? Here is the schedule so far:

Prizes: Random Give Aways to active/talkative attendees
Eligibility: All Lvl Heroes.

*SO Enhancements for winners can be purchased at the end of event or can be saved on reservation within the next 5 lvls of winning

I say that is a perfect time for a CC event. We can start broadcasting the ad for it like a week or 2 in advance....And maybe a huge SG TF or something......

A supergroup TF wouldn't be bad, with more than one team on a taskforce or 2 different task forces. Or perhaps a day of events, such as *racing*(muhaha.) Or raffles! Put your name in a hat to see if you win something! Or...I don't know, think of things from a county fair or something

Raffles...I didn't think about that...I would love to get enough people on to fight a GM with just the enforcement group fighting it...though I dunno if that would happen...

I dont have my notebook with me right now ( I wrote down alot of ideas...), but I was thinking of a couple style of events. And I like Gekkou's idea of a raffle, that sounds amazing, so I'll add that in. Some of these events will have prizes, some will just be to hang out. I'll continue to update this post with approved events.

omg that all sounds great! The Enforcement Group will basically rule Atlas that day! We will definatly be able to get the word out for sure! I am very excited about this!

Grav is gonna like this... his birthday is the day before on the 25th!

Okay I'm gonna start hammering out events and prizes tied to those events. Next I want you guys to do me a small little favor. Anytime you hit a major zone, shout out about the Enforcement Groups Birthday just once a day. As in, if you go to atlas, steel, talos, peregrine. Just once in each of those zones you travel to give a quick broadcast to let everyone know that it's going to be a day packed with events and prizes.

If everyone did this just once, every day until our b-day I think we'd get a big turn out. I'll also be posting this on the main CoH forums in both the player events and the freedom board.

BTW you might get a couple tells asking you what all we'll be doing and giving away. Feel free to reference this thread or send them to our forums. On top of that, here are some stats if you want to spice it up.

We are THE fastest moving SG on the Freedom server, currently ranked number 53. (Almost inside of the top 50, woot) We feature TPs to every zone possible. We have excellent forums, an interactive website, and we host our own Team Speak Server.

Well that's all I can think of for now. I'll write more if I think of new stuff.

The times and events are starting to look good now, can't wait to do em!

We did and we are thinking we might run more events like this....

The Celebration was a huge success and alot of fun even though we did not play hide and seek as much as we had planned and had some thing shave the time change a few times, it was still alot of fun, some of us even did two Hami Raids...it was exciting. I think that we got our name out in a good way and got to have fun together as an SG...I think doing something like this again...maybe not to quite such a large scale...would be great. I would love comments on events and opinions on doing more evnts like this...

Thanks everyone who came out and even more thanks to the people who helped out! The 2nd Anniversary party was a huge sucess! In total we had 92 tickets sold for the raffle! Remeber that each ticket cost 99,999 influence, so this money will go directly for paying for the other gifts we gave out and for the Enforcement Groups enhancements! It seemed like there was a whole list of people who were excited at the chance to win CoV.

I agree with Adorai, I think that we did a great job getting our SG name out there. Apparently we had alot of people asking about joining our SG last night. To include our very new member Kitty Twister. Jousting has been recruiting a whole lot of people into Legends, and we've been making room for them in our main SG, so remember to welcome them.

And I'd definately like to do this again, if nothing else just for the CC and Raffle. Unfortunately, I'm all out of CoV copies, but I'm fully stocked on 14 day free trials, so let me know if your friends want to try the game out; I can hook you up.
