Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know some of the facts in the grand scheme of things for the Enforcement Group.

So here it is, my mission statement.

First, the basics: We have a fully functional base, complete with teleporters, rez tube, salvage and enhancement storage, raid teleporter and SG computer. We also have a SG Chat Channel for those members who want to stay connected while playing on other servers or while on villains. We currently have over 4 million Prestige earned for the SG, and taking in consideration the amount of time since we seriously started earning prestige, this makes us one of the fastest growing Super Groups on the server. 2-3 more Million Prestige and we will be in the top 100 SGs on the server.

Advancements for our Super Group: We have this wonderful forum created and maintained by Soul Embrace for starters. Secondly, we have our own website and domain name; for those of you who haven't seen it, go to www.divinedarkness.org. We also run a Team Speak server, which allows our members an extra layer of communication which most SGs don't have. All of these things help seperate us from the common SG around Paragon City.

Our recent big news is our base expansion, which is a huge accomplishment, and is only due to everyone's collective effort! Grats to all!

Where we want to head: Base Raids are coming up around the corner. I'm a little cautious of it, and still looking for an expert in raiding to get a few more details. Before that I'd like to get a bigger and better base, but that'll be costly to get to the degree that I like it (I'm a bit of a perfectionist :D ). What I'd like to purchase next is the upgraded base generator, and then soon after the Super Computer, both of which would provide up with an amazing amount of power and control units (items required to run more equipement in the SG)

The future of our members: It is unbelievable the amount of high lvl 30s and 40s we have. These are the precursor to our next generation. What I'd like to see is having these character all reach lvl 50 (or atleast 45 so they can attend Hamidon raids). Next I'd like to have them decide if the lvl 50 characters are going to be seriously played, because if not, we'll start moving them into our sister guild, The Enforcement Group Legends. This will allow for more expansion of active players by moving out unplayed high lvl alts.

I'm going to stop here for now. I'd like to hear some feedback about my ambitions. I'd also like to get the other Captains to post where they'd like to head, as well as each of the members desires about SG directions.

I agree with Elec on all counts, however I want to have more scheduled events that people actually attend. TFs, costume contests, raids, badge-hunting, planned farming so that more people get the best exp, etc. I hope to see us fill up two SGs if not more and still be as close and fun as we are now. I hope that the SG can also get some events going outside the game though I have the feeling this will either take quite some time or won't happen...um...and I will add more later when i think of it.

I agree that we should do more as a SG. But one thing comes to mind when you say you want to make room for new players. What about all those folks that have been gone for so long....one person has been gone for over a month.....I know I am new and probably don't know the story behind these abcences, but i just wanted to make the statement....we can't be a SG if we don't voice up...

I'm glad you mentioned that. I haven't had a chance to talk about this on the forums yet, however this has already been addressed as far as leadership is concerned.

The Enforcement Group has started an inactivity policy which can be viewed at Enforcement Group Policies. The basic outline is that people who haven't logged in in over a month are subject to guild removal. We've actually have removed 7 people from the guild in the past 2 weeks, all of whom were logged off for over a month straight.

I think if you take a look right now you'll notice that no one has been logged off for more than 22 days due to the recent removals.

Thank you for bringing this up Emb, I'm glad people have the courage to bring up the hard topic of SG policies.

Agreed, this is what the current policy is:
After 31 days (so on day 32) we will kick you, we will send you an e-mail telling you that you were kicked due to inactivity and if you ever wish to come back and be active we will gladly have you back.
This said we do wait the full 32 days, we sadly kick people about once a week, we hope this slows down or stops...then we can really start filling up Legends...This is why we have been telling people to use coalition, to make sure that once it is needed we will be doing it.
I am wondering if you checked the dates yesterday before we did another inactive kick....::pouts:: I hate doing it....or if your exagerating about a month...

Omg...you know how happy i was when i saw when it said "I'm going to stop here for now". Im a lazy ass and hate to read long things...except comics ;). But nontheless, that was all very important and meant to be said, indeed, the enforcers have been bringing in lots of SG and i think hell, so what if were not in "top 100". We can beat most of them out there eh? :). And i had a little idea for events...*ahem* introducing!!! The Two Week Battle! I thought maybeeee every two weeks, we can have teams set up. like, 4 on 4. People will be either randomly chosen, or however you all want to chose them, and put on a team int he arena. people will have 3 days noticed, to get with their team and come up with strategies, and know eachothers powers better. Then, the battle begins! Whats the prize? Self satisfaction of course, and the honor of going back to coalition chat and saying "My team kicked ass." If this pla sucks in the eyes of others, i shall stay quiet. Ill just continue making my ferret fight my dog for amusement.

::giggles:: such a mean pet owner....no I like that I have not fought in arena much...I won't play if its ranked though.....I can't have losses on Adorai....but the others would be fine...he he he...we could even say that the winning team stays together for the following event so it would be like "who can beat our reigning champs" type deal....

Gotta talk to Elec and Flame, I know this weekend is out since we are doing massive lvl weekend, but for the future I like it

BTW those of you interested in TFs which one/ones ar you looking to do, I want Sara Moore, Justin Augustine, or Fathim the kind's TFs on Adorai, but any TF sides Positron I would be willing to do on the other character that can do them (hell Idon't mind repeating some of em on Adorai even). So just wondering which ones we should start to plan.

Update current as of 25 July.

With the coming and going of the Double XP weekend, our SG has bounded ahead of other groups. We went from having a total of 4.5 million prestige to having a cool 7 million! This puts us within striking range of the top 100 SGs of the server! All we need is to earn 1.5 million more and we'll be there, keep working hard everyone.

Also over the last week, we have upgraded our plot size, bought a bigger room, and purchased a new base generator, and base SG computer. We picked up a new coalition called "Pryde". They are a feline role playing SG lead by Soul Embraces irl boyfriend.

We're getting closer and closer to base raids and more SG events will be hosted in the near future.

Yes our SG base is becoming awesome and I never thought we would even be close to the top 100 since we had always been a small SG, Its amazing that we have found so many fun players and that all of them have worked to make our SG and our base better, thanks everyone and we hope to continue going strong.

Thanks to Gekkou, we are 1 step away from Raiding. Ontop of that we are moving towards our next expansion of the SG. We're 1/3rd of the way there to the next plot upgrade. The Enforcement Group is witnessing a new generation of Alts lvling extremely fast and a handful of people populating the Legends SG. We're soon going to make moves to decrease the amount of time for the inactivity policy to take effect to make room for many new, active players.

Whew... I think that's it for now.

Looking forward to having legends full of 50s and thier alts, and having them supporting new players in a way to make then enjoy the SG and the game. And yall have all been rocking the prestige...its all yalls awesomeness that makes our base rock. We are hoping to start work on getting the basics for Legends so that they will not have to do without the med center and storage facilities that the Enforcement Group has, and with that group growing and gaining prestige much faster now it should not be a goal we cannot reach.

We have now seen the top 100 chart...by that I mean the SG was in it...however once we pay rent we may no longer be there so keep up the excellent work to either keep us there or get us back up there once we pay rent. Youa re all doing great and I know we can stay up there as long as we keep up our awesome work!!

Well until further notice I am going to use Eclipse-X so I can build up some prestige f or us. She is sitting at lvl 4 or 5 i think now....so if anyone has a farm coming up please let me know..I want to get some lvls and prestige done as fast as possible....I know that sounds cheap...i guess it is.....I am just in a hurry to get my tank up and running..... :blink:

(i feel credited :) thanx big elec) O and i have a ?uestion...Once our main SG is full, and we have more people wanting in, do we move alts (even active ones, if they arnt main toons) over to legends? or are we creating a new branch. If so, i think we should name it Enforcment Group East! or something. something cool. Our second branch should be awesomeeee..........................

legends will be for 50s and thier alts....if the main SG is full with characters where there are a good numbe rof alts we will create a new SG, and if people would like to come up with ideas for the name we may use em. Right now between legends, the main SG and the inactivity policy we have not been to pressed for getting another SG, but I doubt that will last long...

Also I would like to say those of you with alts at 50 we will probably no longer be inviting your alts to the main SG, unless your fifty is in Legends, due to the abundant amount of characters we have in the main SG and how no one in legends but Dawn (me) normally gets on.

i cant wait till we have a branch of our sg...like the x-men...and justice league...and omega force...we're like, gonna be in the big leagues! awesome...name suggestion: Enforcement Group East!

Isnt legends the alt branch? i was thinking east becuz...well...they would be like somewhere else or something...wutever! O and i noticed that Omega Force has a branch for their alts called Omega Force Legends...did we copy them?! i think Embraces The Enforcement Group: Altaholic's Annonymous is a cooler name than legends :-p

Legends is for the 50s...and thier alts...legends worked cause we hope our 50s rock hard enough to be "legends" we didn't copy Omega (and I said this last night over coal but you were not listening dork) however I am sure they had that SG before we had ours...the next SG would be for anyone, or for alts...(possibly a "new recruits" guild...though that would be hard...cause people would have to log over everytime someone needed an invite)...unsure right now since the captians have not discussed much on the subject...

Seriously though, Very shortly we're going to have a couple spots for recruitment in the Enforcement Group. I want everyone to know that while I do want more and more people to join, what I really want is for more quality people to join. Recently I've been somewhat busy/distracted that I haven't be able to spend quality time with the newer recruits. I'd like to thank any Guard or officer that takes time out of their gaming to explain the basic guidlines of our SG to new people (SG Mode, inactivity policy, things we provide).

Along with the my desire to refocus the group on making a family of players, I'd like to draw attention to Rank in the SG. Previously 100k prestige was the amount required in the SG to make the rank of Guard. Does this need to be looked at?

yes, I think it does, I think we don't make it retro-active (I hate retro-active) but I think soemthing like 300k would be better we have a lot of people getting 100k and then I don't see them be leaders...I think right now its not "special" enough to be gaurd....

I personally think that the issue of promotion should be more than simply prestige. There should be requirements...ie, how much prestige, how well they work with the other members, how socialable they are, how well they lead the new recruits, and what not. simply basing the promotions on prestige may be good for some, but ther are others that have done so much for the group that simply beacause they don't have however much prestige they might feel held back. I don't know if you understand that or not...or you can simply tell me to the hell up and worry about my wedding...lol....

Actually we agree, how we promote currently,
Gaurd-100k Prestige...and not being a dick...
Officier-being a good leader (we see you announcing things helping others get teams etc.) plus you must successfully run a TF (this does not mean you beat it, just meas you ran it well-we know sometimes that one dick tank leaves you midway through and fucks it up for you, we understand thats not yer fault)
Lieutenant-first completes tasks of officier and then goes above and beyond, does things to help the SG out of game, does an exorbanent(SP?) amount in game, or in some other way wows us
Captain-go back in time and become my fiancee, my brother/sister, or me...jk...don't try to do that....

We are thinking about uping the amount of prestige needed to be gaurd now though.

Personally I like the way it is set up (sides the amount of pres needed), however any TF you are running needs a captain with you to like "judge" or alot of other SG members going "like omg our tank left and somehow ____ pulled it out of nowhere got our butts together and we still defeate dthe clockwork king" or the like. Also do to the fact that we have not finished updating the website...few people know the system....so some people we have been waiting to see do one thing so we can promote them...but they don't know that they should do it....and we don't want to tell them cause we wish for them to you know...lead...

I don't do retro-active....I think its just mean....so no, everyone who is already a gaurd would stay that way.
